BrightSteps collects limited data strictly necessary for providing primary educational services and school notice broadcasts:

Parent Contact Information: Mobile phone numbers are used solely for student account authentication and school code association.
Student Profile Data: Student full name, roll number, and grade level (Class 1 to Class 4 / Jr KG / Sr KG) provided by the parent or school administration.
Learning Progress & Rewards: Quiz performance scores and star ratings achieved by students within the learning app.

2. How We Use Information

The collected information is used exclusively to:

Authenticate student and teacher log-ins attached to their registered School Series Code (e.g. BS-ZP-DHANKH-1).
Display customized school notices, homework assignments, and event calendars specific to the student's enrolled school.
Track learning progress and reward star badges to students.

3. Data Protection & Security

We enforce strict industry-standard security measures:

All communication between the mobile app and server is encrypted in transit via HTTPS / TLS encryption.
Data is stored in secure database environments with restricted access controls.
We NEVER sell, rent, or trade student or parent personal data to third parties.
We do NOT display third-party advertisements or use tracking SDKs for ad targeting.

4. Children's Privacy

BrightSteps is designed for primary school children under parent and teacher guidance. We do not collect any location data, contact lists, or device telemetry from child devices. Account access is managed securely via parent mobile authentication.

5. Data Access & Deletion Requests
